“I wish every buyer or seller understood the value of having a clear game plan from the start. It keeps the process on track and helps us stay prepared for any “what ifs” that come up, so we can adapt quickly and keep moving forward.”

What’s your favorite part of being a realtor in Grand Rapids/ Greater Grand Rapids?

“My favorite part of being a realtor in Grand Rapids is seeing how much the city continues to grow. Whether it’s helping someone find their primary home, invest, or dive into commercial opportunities, there’s so much potential here. And above all, the people make it incredible. This community is full of driven, kind, and inspiring individuals.”

What’s one trend you're seeing in the market right now that people should know about?

“One trend I’m seeing in the market right now is more buyers taking advantage of USDA loans in rural areas. With developers continuing to build outward, these areas are becoming smart spots for long-term investment. USDA loans offer favorable terms with little to no down payment, and as growth pushes further out, today’s rural purchase could become tomorrow’s high-demand location.”

What’s one small thing you do for your clients that makes a big difference?

“One small thing I do that makes a big difference is keeping my personal line open and having an open door policy for my clients. Real estate can be demanding and requires constant attention, so I make myself as available as possible. Of course, there are times I may be tied up in appointments or have personal commitments, but I always do my best to stay connected and responsive to their needs.”

When you’re not working, what’s your go-to way to unwind or have fun around town?

“When I am not working, my go to way to unwind is getting outside and doing something active. I love golfing when I want to slow things down but I also enjoy feeling of freedom from skydiving and riding my motorcycle. Anything that gets me moving and recharged is a win.”
