Peter St. John

Peter St. John is an accomplished lending professional with more than 20 years of experience spanning mortgage underwriting, commercial lending, credit analysis, business development, and lending operations. As an Underwriter with City Home Loans, Peter is responsible for evaluating loan applications, assessing risk, and ensuring each mortgage meets agency, investor, and company guidelines. His deep understanding of credit analysis, income and asset review, and loan structuring enables him to make sound lending decisions while helping qualified borrowers achieve their homeownership goals. Throughout his career, Peter has earned a reputation for accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients, loan officers, and lending partners.

A lifelong resident of the Grand Rapids area, Peter is deeply connected to the West Michigan community and enjoys supporting local organizations and his family's activities. Outside of work, he can often be found sailing one of his restored sailboats on local lakes or Lake Michigan. When he's not on the water, Peter enjoys camping, hiking, and exploring the natural beauty of Northern Michigan with his family and friends.
